Recently my hard drive died. I got it fixed but lost about 1/4 of my pictures in the process - the only thing I wanted saved. :( Even more recently my phone updated and I lost all pics from the beginning of December. Very, very sad time around here.
That being said I am so thankful for pictures. I'm working on a project and looking back over the last year. I'm remembering things I forgot, putting dates to things I remember, and getting all kinds of warm fuzzy feelings looking back.
